I love helping others identify what’s best in themselves and use it to create a life and career that explodes with passion, excitement, and fulfillment! Whether it’s teaching, coaching, or mentor coaching, I’ve always had a knack for bringing out the best in others.

In my experience, having the knowledge to teach others is important, but it isn’t enough. What really creates the magic is combining all that knowledge with an ability to show others how to use it in their own special way. That is what allows them to go from good…to great!

So, I spent 40 years building a career around two things: Obtaining all the knowledge available, and teaching others how to use that knowledge based on their personal strengths and opportunities. I began with elementary school students, then I worked with educational leaders, and now I work with professional coaches.

My coach training for the education industry, “Strengths Based Coaching,” became internationally recognized and I’ve had the privilege to teach it to coaches and leaders all over the world.

Then in 2015, I found myself in that mystical place between sleeping and waking, and a vision unfolded before my eyes.

I was to touch one million souls with coaching, personally and through others, to improve their lives. Wow. Time to step up my game! The only way I could see to do that was to let go of the education piece and focus my energy on teaching coaches, who could then go out into the world and coach others.

So, I decided to become a full-time mentor coach. Within a month, the world-class ICF accredited coaching school, the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), snapped me up to be a mentor coach for their students.

They expected me to work with students to meet and exceed the ICF standards for credentialed coaches. Which is exactly what I’ve done, not only for iPEC students, but for private mentor students as well who have wanted to receive their ICF credential.

I’ve received formal training in the ICF competencies, as well as formal training and certification in mentor coaching. Adding all of that together with my “knack” for helping others use their personal strengths, and I’m proud to say that every single coach I’ve ever mentored has received their PCC level certification. In the last two years, that’s been 477—and counting!

Now I have the confidence I have something special and unique to share with the world, and that is priceless.”
